Het doseringsbereik van Aztreonam is 1 tot 8 g per dag in gelijk verdeelde doses. De gebruikelijke dosering is 3 tot 4 g per dag. De maximale aanbevolen dosis is 8 g per dag. De dosering en de toedieningsweg moeten worden bepaald door de gevoeligheid van de veroorzakende organismen, de ernst van de infectie en de toestand van de patiënt.
